The old airport certainly needed a revamp! It opened first in 1971 and with the steadily rising number of people using the airport, there have been many extensions and refurbishes, added as appendages.
The new design encapsulates unity and sense of thoughtfulness, a pleasant environment to easy the stress of airport travel. The passenger terminal of the airport has been expanded to increase its size by 50% with the construction of a new terminal area.
All the spaces will soon be refurbished, including VIP lounges, eateries, and boutiques.
