Monuments and museums
Crete is home to one of Greece's most magnificent archaeological sites, Knossos. Dated back to the Bronze Age, Knossos is well-preserved and linked to many Greek myths that kids enjoy, like the fearsome Minotaur and the story of Daedalus and Icarus. If your little ones are budding marine biologists, you’ll be thrilled to know that there are 2 aquariums in Crete, Aquaworld, and Creataquarium, with many interactive displays to keep them entertained.
